The Center for Metaphilosophical Research (CMPHR) is a higher research and teaching institution. It is currently not affiliated with any country or university. It collaborates with German universities and welcomes international cooperation. The Center aims to promote the concept of metaphilosophically informed philosophy as a new paradigm for doing, teaching, studying, and managing philosophy. The CMPHR initiates and supports theoretical, practical, historical, and aesthetic discourses on philosophy and the implementation of metaphilosophical knowledge in philosophical inquiries. One of the current significant tasks is the edition of the first general handbook in metaphilosophy (Springer/Metzler, 2024-2026). The Center will organize conferences and workshops, summer schools, and courses.
